Open to people aged 13 to 120, this course requires no previous experience and is open to the public. The Core Curriculum using Jeet Kune Do / Kali / Krav Maga / Jiu-Jitsu emphasizes Natural Movements and Reactions for Defense, coupled with an Immediate and Decisive Counterattack. Escape To Gain Safety (ETGS) Women's Self-Defense Basics:

The ETGS program is designed for women seeking to enhance their self-defense awareness. This comprehensive course focuses on four base asymmetric tactics: Escape, Target (Eye Flick + ENT: Ears, Nose, Throat), Gain Control, and prioritize Safety. Understanding the importance of attacking vulnerable points on the assailant, such as the Eyes, Throat, Groin, and Shins, women can swiftly incapacitate attackers and escape.


Destroy their Face, Send them to their ENT in an EMT!

Highlighting the urgency and severity of the response, the program emphasizes the importance of targeting an assailant's face, particularly the Eyes, Nose, and Throat (ENT). This approach, likened to sending them to their ENT in an EMT, underscores the effectiveness of swift and targeted counterattacks.


Three Basic Self-Defense Situations for Women:

  1. Defense Against Wrist Grab: Turning the hand outward and using the hitchhike technique to escape.

  2. Grab From Behind: Establishing a solid base, turning the hip into the attacker, executing a Groin Slap, and safely escaping by creating space with elbows.

  3. Defense Against A Knife: Utilizing an improvised weapon and focusing on hitting the hand to "defang the snake."


The Cali Combat System offers an 8-16 week self-defense course specifically tailored for women, with no previous experience required. Based on a reality-based Jeet Kune Do/Kali/Krav Maga/Jiu Jitsu program, the curriculum covers a range of techniques, including strikes, kicks, defensive tactics, releases and escapes, simple weapon disarms, and more. The course aims to boost confidence, providing real-world skills to help them stay safe.


Objectives of the 8-16 Week Beginner Crash Course:

1. Introduce strategies and tactics for self-protection against various attackers and scenarios.

2. Teaching techniques necessary to solve problems and expanding participants' toolboxes.

3. Develop skill sets, including Mental Awareness, Reaction Speed, Movement Speed, Functional Strength, Structural Strength, Stamina, Explosive Force, Retzev - Constant Forward Pressure, Timing & Rhythm, Footwork, Balance, Coordination, Line Familiarization.

4. Enhance Mental and Emotional Awareness in dealing with Confrontation, Sexual Harassment/Assault, Fighting Spirit, Managing Fear and Stress, Proper Mental State, and Emotional Control.


The module-based weekly curriculum (2 hours per session, 16 hours minimum) covers a range of topics. The 16-hour minimum course includes modules on self-defense principles, close-quarters combat, ground defense, grappling, impact and edged weapons defense, and scenarios involving guns and flexible weapons. Module 1 to 8 introduces JKD / Krav Maga principles, self-defense basics, emergency response, wrist grabs, close-quarters combat, trapping, grappling, ground fighting, Kali weapons training, and Krav Maga gun defense.
