Led by a seasoned martial artist with over 30 years of experience, our Head Instructor holds Black Belt or Instructor status in multiple disciplines. His journey began in 1992, evolving through various martial arts realms, including Jeet Kune Do, Eskrima-Kali-Arnis, Submission Grappling, and Israeli Krav Maga.

Certified and recognized in Bruce Lee's Contemporary JKD, Israeli Krav Maga, Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Grappling, Chinatown JKD, Combat JuJitsu, and more, Mr. Giehl leads the San Diego Chinatown JKD Study Group. His extensive training includes encounters with martial arts legends like Guro Dan Inosanto, Sifu Paul Vunak, and many others.
