Unlock the secrets of the unparalleled Rapid Assault Tactics (RAT) system, meticulously crafted by American instructor Paul Vunak in the 1980s. Initially designed as the principal combat training program for the esteemed US Navy Seals Team-6, RAT stands as a beacon in modern self-defense and survival techniques, deeply rooted in the principles of the legendary martial art Jeet Kune Do pioneered by Bruce Lee.

What sets RAT apart from conventional martial arts is the revolutionary concept of the Straight Blast. This disruptive technique not only unsettles the opponent's base and balance but also serves as a strategic tool to navigate encounters with larger adversaries. The emphasis on catastrophic techniques such as Head, Knee, Agony, and Kina Mutai (utilizing bites, eye strikes, finger fractures, and bites) distinguishes RAT as a system tailored for swift and efficient neutralization of opponents.

In the realm of self-defense, RAT emerges as the epitome of efficiency, practicality, and effectiveness. Unlike traditional systems that often rely on sterile techniques and rehearsed scenarios, RAT thrives in the unpredictable landscape of street attacks and unanticipated violence.

Specifically designed for survival and self-preservation, RAT becomes indispensable when confrontations escalate, and physical well-being hangs in the balance. The system's core revolves around acquiring advanced technical and theoretical knowledge of employing Head, Butts, Knees, and Elbows (HKE) in critical situations. Training unfolds in a safe and progressive manner, enhancing the trainee's alertness, psychological readiness, and realistic application of techniques in high-stress environments.

RAT operates on three fundamental principles:

  1. Entry: Inspired by Bruce Lee's interception concept, RAT advocates striking in the opponent's primary attack time to inflict pain and disruption, diminishing the opponent's ability to retaliate effectively.

  2. Pressure: Building on the principle of maintaining a balanced body base, RAT introduces the Straight Blast, a kinetic powerhouse derived from Wing Chun martial art and refined by Bruce Lee for Jeet Kune Do.

  3. Resolution - Termination of Conflict: The ultimate goal in RAT is swift disengagement and conflict termination. Employing HKE on three levels (High, Medium, Low), RAT seeks to cause rapid and catastrophic injuries, inducing mechanical malfunctions and psychological disorganization for a secure escape.

More than a mere fighting technique, RAT embodies a heightened awareness and comprehension of battle phases. In a world where many enter street fights without a plan, RAT stands as a strategic blueprint, significantly elevating the chances of a successful outcome. Elevate your self-defense prowess with the transformative RAT system—a paradigm shift in the art of combat!
