Starting his martial arts journey as a teenager, Sifu Jeramiah immersed himself in a diverse range of disciplines, shaping his expertise in Jeet Kune Do, Taekwondo, Eskrima Kali-Arnis, Aikido, Wrestling (Freestyle, Greco-Roman, Catch Wrestling), Trap Fighting (Shoot Wrestling), Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, and Krav Maga.
With over 25 years of rich experience, our Head Instructor is a testament to the transformative power of martial arts. His commitment to the craft began in 1992, and since then, he has not only become a skilled practitioner but a dedicated instructor who started teaching in 1996.
Sifu Jeramiah holds an impressive array of certifications and achievements. As a 1st Degree Black Belts in Combat JuJitsu, Shorinji Ryu Jujitsu, and Taekwondo, he is also a Full Instructor certified by Sifu Paul Vunak in Contemporary JKD & FMA, and an Associate Instructor in the Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do Grappling Association under Sify John Doty,. His expertise extends to Active Shooter/Mass Casualty Certifications (through FEMA & DHS), Rapid Assault Tactics (Clinch & Ground), Military Edged Weapons, and Krav Maga - Law Enforcement Control Tactics.
His affiliation includes being an Instructor of DFA Kali-KunTao, where he specializes as a Stick Instructor (Double Stick, Single Stick), Karambit and Knife Defense Instructor. As a Senior 2nd Level Coach and Ranked Member in Chinatown JKD under Sifu Tim Tackett, he adds depth to his martial arts portfolio. Additionally, he holds a certification as a Civilian Instructor in Israeli Krav Maga under Expert Alain Cohen.
Sifu Jeramiah's extensive training also features experiences with renowned figures in the martial arts world. From Guro Dan Inosanto in LaCoste Kali, Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Regino Ilustrisimo, Maphilindo Silat, and Majapahit Silat to Sifu Burton Richardson in Battleground Kali, BJJ For The Street, Knife Grappling, Gun Grappling, and Silat For the Street, his journey has been enriched by wisdom from masters.
His commitment to learning extends to training with Guro Daniel Sullivan in Panantukan, Muay Thai, and Harimau Silat, as well as with Guro Ron Balicki in Jun Fan JKD, Inosanto LaCoste Kali, Lameco Eskrima, Harimau Silat, Mande Muda Silat, Knife Fighting, and Stick Fighting. Further, he has trained with top professionals in Catch Wrestling and Wrestling/Dirty MMA. His experience in Wrestling during High School, training in Gracie Combatives, Muay Thai and Savate have added layers to his martial arts expertise.
